Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer Technician
Northwestern University’s Department of Earth Planetary Sciences is hiring a technician to oversee a new stable isotope geochemistry facility with two Thermo Electron Delta V isotope ratio mass spectrometers equipped with EA, TC/EA, GC and Gas Bench peripherals. We seek an individual with experience with continuous-flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry. Experience with several of the peripherals is preferable. Responsibilities will include instrument maintenance, facility oversight, user training, fiscal management, and method development. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
