Research Associate/Lab Manager Opportunity

A full-time Research Associate/Lab Manager is needed to oversee the Radiogenic Isotope Geochemistry Clean Laboratory at Northwestern University.

The laboratory comprises a PicoTrace clean room and a Triton MC-TIMS. The identified lab manager will operate, maintain, and repair the TIMS; work in the clean room to prepare samples, spikes, and reagents; participate in method development projects; train students and assist visitors; and maintain records of usage and expenses.

Applicants should have a MS or PhD in geochemistry, with a strong background in isotope dilution techniques and ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and vacuum equipment. Additional familiarity with ICP-OES is preferred.
