I studied solid state Physics at the University of Tehran, and then I enrolled in the Seismology program at the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran. I am pursuing toward the doctoral degree
under supervision of Emile A. Okal at Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Northwestern University (Evanston, IL -- US).

Programming Abilities:
FORTRAN, UNIX shell scripting, LATEX (familiar with C, python and MATLAB)

Softwares:
Variety of seismic, acoustic, hydrodynamic, dataset and plotting software
Various versions of Office
Various multimedia and graphic softwares.

Languages:
Fluent in English, Farsi
Fair in Arabic
Familiar with Aramaic, Sumerian, Avestan and Latin

I spend my spare time:
Studying ancient (preferably dead!) languages.
Watching movies (here is a list of some of the movies I have watched and what I think about them)
Playing around with data visualization techniques.
