Expansion of Global Topography on Spherical Harmonics
The Pacific view of expansion of the global topography on spherical harmonics. This is done by calculating the l and m coefficients and building the result as the sum of the harmonics series. This figure is created for 12 snapshots (l=0 or "flat" to 0<l<400 or "true" bathymetries). Also, here is a 3D movie with more information.
