RESEARCH

Over the last 10 years, I have continued to develop new elemental and isotopic techniques based on inductively-coupled mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS), but have also explored new theoretical applications, in particular medicine (with copper isotopes being a promising cancer biomarker of some cancers) and archaeology. I nevertheless maintained a steady interest for previous themes, such as planetary sciences, the origin of volatiles in the solar system, crustal growth, and Early Earth. I feel that my most original contributions were also successful when I could combine cutting-edge analytical techniques with physics and chemistry-oriented modeling of natural processes.
