GEOL C02 Field Trip: Old Isabella Mine (Negaunee Iron Formation)

The GEOL C02 class poses for a group photograph on the Negaunee Iron Formation as exposed near the Old Isabella Mine. Here the iron formation is largely hematite interbedded with iron-stained chert and occasional clastic lenses.
