Undergraduate Jeremy Brooks Receives First-Year Seminar Writing Award

Earth and Planetary Sciences undergraduate Jeremy Brooks is one of three undergraduates in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences to receive the 2018 First-Year Seminar Writing Award. According to The Writing Place, which administers this prestigious award, the award is given to the "most outstanding papers written in Freshman Seminars." Brooks wrote the paper, titled "Global Climate Change Inequity," for Professor Dan Horton's Freshman Seminar: Sustainability & Social Justice.
